Quality Design and Build
A Surrey-based development and construction company, Giraffe Developments specialises in delivering quality private residential projects, both new build and high-end refurbishments.
Our experience also includes the commercial and care sectors. From planning and costing to design and construction, we offer indepth knowledge of the entire development process. And it’s this multi-disciplinary expertise, coupled with our total client focus, that we’re known for.
Geoff and Anthony founded Giraffe Developments in 2015. Since then, we’ve successfully completed numerous projects in leafy South West London, while building a reputation for honesty and transparency that drives our 99% word-of-mouth project rate.

While many clients choose our full design and build service, we’re also happy to collaborate with a design team you’ve already engaged, adding our expertise where necessary.
Leadership
The team of architects, designers and engineers are guided under the professional direction of the founders Geoff and Anthony, South African born brother-in-law team who have over 60 years of combined experience.

Geoff has nearly 30 years’ experience in construction and has overseen a diverse portfolio of projects, from large-scale residential developments and luxury hotels to commercial and bespoke residential property.
He first qualified as a Civil Engineer and worked in his native South Africa, before moving to the UK in 1999, where he has enjoyed a career that includes one of London’s largest private developers, Galliard Homes.
Geoff started his own property development company in 2005 and is still very hands-on with every project. His lateral thinking and client focus leads to strong relationships and a large repeat business base. Beyond work, Geoff is family-man and avid lover of all things sport.

Anthony qualified as a plumber in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and was soon opening his own successful business. Moving to the UK in 1998, he landed his first role here as a plumber at Wimbledon Tennis, working on the club’s expansion.
He then progressed to running his own enterprises, including a specialist plumbing firm, property development, and a loft conversion company. He continues to grow in the construction field, launching Giraffe Developments with Geoff in 2015, where he’s actively involved in all aspects of the business.
Anthony’s clients are almost all word-of-mouth referrals; a direct result of going above and beyond on every project. As well as strong problem-solving skills, and an excellent eye for detail, he has a passion for the environment. He lives with his family in the countryside, pursuing an off-grid, self-sustainable, active lifestyle.
